Experience Ty Curtis has been involved with music all of his life. He began to perform professionally when he was in his teens. Today Ty is an accomplished musician, recording artist, and songwriter. Songs from Ty's Album, Walk Home With Me, continue to play on the radio. (The background music for this page is an original jazz composition entitled "Who Knows" taken from that album.) Ty has also played as a studio musician on several on several albums including: Seacoast's Worthy CD, and Robert Williams' Change My Heart CD. He has served as a director of contemporary music for various churches in the Charleston area for over a decade. Ty is also a classroom teacher with 20 years of experience. Ty is a patient, dedicated, experienced teacher who enjoys sharing the gift of music. He custom tailors his teaching technique to the individual student, utilizing all of his training to make every lesson extensive and enjoyable. His passion for music and teaching is the perfect combination to help any aspiring guitarist reach their goals.
